Hunting History




Newtown Enterprise April 9, 1868
So much for the "Farmer's Gazette." Perhaps in another 62 years, antiquarians, in hunting up the early history of Newtown, will find a copy of the "Enterprise," and will thus reproduce its contents. They will then see how their grandfathers lived and moved, how badly the good citizens were served by the gas Co., how slow capitalists were in building houses, and how long the snow laid along the fences, away back in 1868!
Make that 154 years!
